My journey began at the age of 6 when I was chosen to compete in the esteemed Soviet Gymnastics Program and continued through my professional competitive career as a dance & aerobic champion. I used my skills to create a health and fitness company in Lithuania – where I hosted a weekly aerobics class on national television. I then opened a personal training studio in Australia. I trained in Pilates and since 2006, I have run Tailored Pilates in London, which has since expanded into Tailored Wellness. This has led me to qualify as a certified GYROTONIC®, GYROKINESIS® Instructor and a certified Yamuna® body rolling Instructor. However, over the years, it has become evident that the body needs more than physical exercise to achieve its optimum potential for its best life. To complement my fitness qualifications, I have studied meditation techniques, Ayurvedic therapy, and Chi Nei Tsang, amongst other modalities. My passion for full body wellness led me to become a qualified naturopathic nutritionist from the College of Naturopathic Medicine, and a certified bioresonance practitioner according to Paul Schmidt.
My passion and commitment to exercise began at the age of six when I was chosen to compete in the esteemed Soviet Gymnastics Program. I was dedicated and worked hard; practices that I implement in my training even now. By the age of 10 I had become a national and international gymnastics champion.
Soon after, I sustained an injury that put an end to my gymnastics career and left me in a rehabilitation hospital where I slept in traction every night for two years. I was told I would never be able to take part in any physical activities again and wouldn't even be able to ride a bicycle. I refused to believe it and pushed myself to new limits, testing my will power and determination.
A few years later, I became a national champion in Sports Aerobics and Open International Sports Aerobics. I graduated with a degree in Sports Science at the same time that I was presenting a daily aerobics program on television. In 1999 I was crowned Lithuanian Sportswomen of the Year.
Always wanting to learn more and develop further, I went on to study various forms of exercise and now hold qualifications in Pilates, the GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® methods, Kinesis, Yamuna® Body Rolling, Reiki, Ayurveda, Chi Nei Tsang, Universal Healing, and am a Bioresonance practitioner, as well as a qualified and registered naturopathic nutritionist.
In 2006, I started my private practice in South Kensington to use my unique combination of knowledge and skills to help others. My vision is to empower others to live in wellness through working with individuals to together create a personal protocol that inspires their body to naturally heal from within and remain healthy & pain free. I incorporate all of my practices together with each client, and with my experience and their input, we create a bespoke program that focuses on caring for the body and mind both inside and out, that fits into their lifestyle.
Training sessions can involve components from each of the practices in which I am qualified, or could focus on just one. Every client requires different attention to suit their physicality and expectations. Sessions engage in specific exercises, which are all part of the overall planned journey which we create to enhance your movement and wellbeing.
My experience and knowledge across a spectrum of practices enables me to draw from specific modalities, individually appropriate to each client and work with them to create a bespoke program focused on exactly what he or she might need and deliver it in a manner that will comfortably fit into their life at this present time.
